MSI Recruitment is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist for our client, a Reach South Academy dedicated to young people aged 4-19 with autism.

Roles/Responsibilities for the Speech and Language Therapist Role-

  • Join our multi-disciplinary Therapy Team in an exciting role providing expertise, advice, and intervention for a varied communication case-load, discreetly and embedded within the educational environment across the academy.

Requirements for the Speech and Language Therapist Role-

  • Demonstrate a passion for making communication accessible for autistic learners.
  • Be a child-centred practitioner, responsive to the individual needs of each child.
  • Possess good knowledge and understanding of autism and social communication needs, along with appropriate communication strategies.
  • Utilise a creative and flexible therapeutic approach, fostering success through challenge, personalisation, and innovation.
  • Build positive relationships to break down barriers and enhance self-esteem.
  • Show commitment to enabling all pupils to overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
  • Applications from newly qualified therapists are welcome.
