Salary: £160,000 + £10,00 signing on bonus and £8,400 car allowance

I am pleased to announce we are working with a private healthcare employer who have an exciting partnership venture with a local NHS Trust. As a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist you will be making a vital contribution to the lives of young people aged 13 - 18 with general mental health tier 4 presentations including disordered eating.
You will be seconded to the local NHS Trust through the hybrid clinical and operational model, you will deliver an evidence-based and focused treatment plan to support the children and young people, and their families, as they progress through their care plans to understand eating behaviours and restore physical health.
Main responsibilities for Inpatient CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist:
- Review referrals and determine appropriateness for admission
- Conduct admission assessments and maintain effective management plans of all young people on the unit
- Conduct risk assessments and review regularly
- Allocate specialist psychological treatments in line with individual needs
- Assess physical health
- Ensuring effective liaison with referring teams
- Facilitating regular CPA review meeting
- Act as Responsible Clinician for young people detained under the Mental Health Act
- Involvement in quality, inspections and governance processes
You will also be required to talk part in the On Call Consultant rota.
