Consultant Clinical Psychologist

Hours: Full Time

Location: Cambridgeshire

Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 p/annum (depending upon experience)

Are you an experienced Consultant Neuro/Clinical Psychologist looking for a rewarding career where you can make a real difference and change lives for the better?

We are seeking a Consultant Clinical Psychologist to join our team at a leading rehabilitation centre. Our service provides comprehensive care, therapeutic interventions, and rehabilitation pathways for individuals affected by neurological or mental health conditions, particularly those presenting with challenging behaviour as a primary impairment.

Key responsibilities for the Consultant Clinical Psychologist role:

  • Deliver strategic and clinical strategies to grow and further develop the neurological care pathway.
  • Identify and develop new services for other neurological conditions.
  • Ensure all non-medical therapeutic approaches are underpinned by a conceptual model, have an empirical evidence base, and that their effectiveness is measured.
  • Ensure that all members of the transdisciplinary team have access to and understanding of the concepts and principles underpinning framework and the specialised skills

Minimum requirements for the Consultant Clinical Psychologist are:

  • BPS accredited and HCPC approved Doctorate.
  • HCPC Registered.
  • Chartered Member of the BPS
  • Evidence of engagement in ABI networks.
  • Post-doctoral level knowledge and application of research methodology, research design and complex, multivariate data analysis.
