Are you a caring and dedicated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? We are currently recruiting for the role of HCA at HMP The Mount. This is an ongoing contract role with availability for both weekday and weekend shifts.
Key Role and Responsibilities for HCA:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients within HMP The Mount
- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility
- Support patients in managing their physical and mental well-being
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
Minimum Requirements for HCA:
- 6 months experience working as a Healthcare Assistant
- Previous prison experience is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and understanding towards individuals in a challenging environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
