MSI Recruitment is currently presenting exceptional opportunities for Occupational Therapists in Peterborough, with shifts available from Monday to Sunday. If you are a dedicated and industrious candidate with availability across a range of shift patterns, this role could be an ideal fit for you.

Community-based OT Role:

  • Provide face-to-face Occupational Therapy to adults and older individuals in the comfort of their homes.

  • Ability to complete all clinical documentation at home or office base, with all necessary IT equipment provided for a hybrid model of working.

  • Work autonomously within the integrated multi-professional team, specifically within community neighbourhood teams.

  • Take responsibility for your caseload, conducting assessments of adults and older individuals with complex pathologies, using specialised clinical reasoning skills.

  • Identify patient needs, establish goals, and deliver appropriate therapy interventions, including adaptive equipment, rehabilitation programs, and recommendations for housing adaptations in accordance with current legislation.

  • Be accountable for a delegated caseload held by Assistant Practitioners.

  • Integrated health and social care experience/model.

  • Proficiency in moving and handling to support patients and caregivers while minimising care packages.

  • Background in rehabilitation, including minor equipment provision.
