What is a Functional Assessor?
Functional Assessor roles allow healthcare professionals to use the full range of their clinical knowledge.
Assessors work with patients on a one-to-one basis to understand how their lives are affected by their medical or physical disabilities. They then prepare detailed clinical reports for the DWP. The role is about helping applicants, not about determining if they are fit for work.
MSI recruit nurse, doctor and physio functional assessors.
